Christian Bulos

Owner and Founder

Born in the Philippines and raised in Australia, Christian grew up in the suburban town of Scoresby, Victoria. A self-taught artist who found art at a very young age. From painting to photography, he continued to hone his artistic skills and has exhibited in various galleries around Melbourne, nationally and internationally. 

Admiring works from the Masters through to Comic Books Illustrator heroes, he is now drawn to another realm of Art, with respect and appreciation for tattooing and its vastly rich history. 

Christian specialises in black & grey work, with styles including realism, Japanese, dot work, fine line minimalism and cultural tattoos. His versatility is shown throughout his tattoo work, while continuing to create his own individual style.

Yve Thyssen

Apprentice

Yve Thyssen is an Australian Illustrator and Mixed Media Artist specialising in traditional and digital mediums. 

Yve Thyssen is best known for her layered, textured work often focusing on women or mech anime designs. Her works explore the human psyche, nature, the process of life and death and the juxtaposition between chaos and refinement in both techniques and subject matter.

Yve currently is working on personal projects whilst undergoing her tattoo apprenticeship through Black Sparrow Tattoos Melbourne . She hopes to pursue her career as an Artist whom specialises in the tattoo medium.
